Wanted to thank Denis for helping my father find this location. I have to admit I was a little bit apprehensive at first, but the care my father received was unbelievable. The staff truly cared for him and helped him recover and improve so much. The only negative thing I can say is I wish my father could’ve been there longer because the facility helped him so much. My father has Alzheimer’s and he’s had trouble with other boarding care homes. But he was very well taken care of here

Thank you for taking such kind care of my sister while she was there. I have seen horrible conditions in other places and was expecting the worst. The staff was attentive and caring and showed genuine kindness.

Outstanding Professional Standards. Great nursing staff. Receiving physical and occupational therapy here. The absolute best. Therapists are extremely knowledgeable and professional! Recently had left hip replacement surgery at Providence Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills. Highly Recommend both medical centers.

The care my dad received from Stoney Point health care facility was unlike any other skilled nursing facility we’ve ever been to. The staff are warm, compassionate, caring, gentle, friendly, and treat patients with the upmost respect and dignity. Of the 5+ skilled nursing facilities he had been admitted to, Stoney Point was the ONLY facility he did not get bed sores in. Even though he was bed bound, they bathed him, cut his hair, shaved his face, cut his nails, and ultimately gave someone who couldn’t groom himself anymore the dignity of being properly groomed. All the staff we encountered were lovely. I am so lucky that my dad spent his last days in a place I knew he had compassionate care, and was safe. At first glance, the facility looks older and slightly run down, but the care we received there was beyond amazing. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I had a great experience at Stoney Point Healthcare Center. The staff was friendly, professional and caring. They took good care of aunt and her needs. The facility was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. I felt my aunt was safe and respected throughout her stay. I would highly recommend Stoney Point Healthcare Center to anyone who needs quality healthcare services.

My mother has been here for several months now and it has been a positive experience all around. She is very happy with the staff, food and activities. We are happy with the care she is getting and the communication between us and her caregivers. This was one of the most difficult decisions to make and the staff truly made the experience so much smoother. We are beyond blessed to have found this place! Thank you everyone for all the love and help that you have provided to us.

Stoney Point Healthcare Center is such a warm and welcoming community. I have had the privilege of having my uncle in this facility. The admissions coordinator Maria is always open to meeting new families and gave us a tour of the facility to ensure it is a good fit for us. Definitely made sure all the necessary equipment was available upon his admission. This team goes above and beyond for residents and their families and it is evident in the specialized quality of care they provide and the time they devote to great service. Every time I have entered the community, their residents are actively engaged in activity and receiving the 1-1, personalized attention they need. I am proud to recommend them to any family in need.

I have had an individual placed here several times over the past few years. The administration staff is amazing and has helped me in ways I could never have imagined. The day shift nurses are very skilled.

The facility has made an improvement over the years. I’ve had my loved one at Stoney Point for over 7 years and the culture has definitely changed for the better thanks to the new management. Their team is very accommodating especially during visits. And the nurses do a great job at communicating and giving updates about our loved one. Keep up the great work!

At this place there are many irregularities, confusion with nurses and patients’ medications and some CNAs do not treat patients well, especially those on the night shift. My mother was attacked by a CNA on 2 occasions and then with a different person, in fact several people told me to investigate that place. They don’t do anything with those types of people, they just move them. It’s sad that the sick have to suffer because of the impatient!!

I shouldn’t even rate this facility a 1! They broke my sister! She had mental and physical problems that they were supposed to be addressing and helping her! She was only 57 when she was transferred there from another hospital. She was full of positivity and hopes and planning on returning home soon. She was fearful of some people at SP who yelled and threatened her, her clothing kept disappearing, and the food was mostly carbs! Then within a month my sister seemed way too subdued and when her daughter traveled to see what was going on, she found her in a mental haze! It took about a month of my niece trying to work with their social worker to get her back home! They were of no help!!! Well, the mental haze was from 2 psychotic meds being administered to her, one if which was 3x what it should have been! Her doctor started lowering asap here! Anyway, my bright bubbly sister is very subdued and in several months hasn’t improved a lot. She was very intelligent and politically minded and should have written books! That girl had a lot on her mind! She was always on social media…now she can hardly text a sentence! And she adored her 2 girls and 5 grandchildren..now there is a disconnect! So maybe I should rate this place a minus 10!

This is probably the most horrific place I have ever seen. It’s old , dirty, loud . My husband was there 2 nights to long.

Beware sending your loved one to this place unless your loved one is a yeller, screamer, or has violent tendencies! If I would have known that Stoneypoint was for “crazy” people, i would have chosen a different place for him. There were many problems we had while my DH was there: rashes and pain from not being changed in a timely manner; DH caught Covid from a “wandering patient” out of all the hospitals/facilities he has been in; clear laundry doing signs were ignored by some nurses causing my DH’s clothes to be given to another patient and vice versa and they refused to look for missing clothes even though i took pictures of all his clothing; DH was cheated out of proper PT after his “knee kept giving out” causing him to be sent home for the family to pick up the pieces; most staff seemed to be spanish speaking and seemed to be more interested in taking breaks, talking in spanish, and laughing. My DH said if there were 2 changing him and talking in spanish and laughing, he swore they were talking about him, based on his limited spanish that he understood. The only thing DH liked was breakfast, otherwise all other food was full of carbohydrates and starch that his diet prohibits. If you love your family member, don’t send them here unless you have exhausted every other resource and no one else would take him/her! You have been warned!

Very lucky to have been pointed towards Stoney Point. The level of compassion and attentiveness that has been given to my family member is well beyond expectations. I am very relaxed now seeing how he is cared for and from witnessing the support he receives, not only from the staff, but from other residents as well. This is an excellent team here. Also has a spacious and peaceful outdoor area where the staff plays music and dances, hoops shooting and other games so the residents have the ability to move around and remain entertained.

Do not let your family in here. I too, like the reviewer below couldnt get a social worker to return my call or even talk to them or anyone in charge.
